Dear Parents,
I hope that all of you had a wonderful weekend. I am sorry that I am just getting this out. Thanks to all of you that came out for science fair night. Our own David Higgins placed second in third grade. Last week, I sent home the list of students in our room for you to complete your valentines . Also make sure that you decorate a box or a bag and bring it to school for the party.

Our learning this week...
Reading- We are continuing to focus on traditional literature and will be focusing on myths and folktales this week.
Writing- We are drafting are imaginative stories. Our students have come up with some very creative ideas!
Science- We are looking into soil, weathering, and erosion and how those things impact our environment.
Math- We are continuing to explore measurement and are working specifically on area and perimeter this week.
Social Studies- We are continuing to build our bracelet selling business!
Homework :
Math - perimeter and area sheets both Monday and Wednesdat
Reading - 30 minutes each night
Tuesday - complete sheet about fables
Thursday - complete sheet about fables.
