Well we all survived the last two days. STAAR Testing is now behind us. As we begin looking towards the end of the school year, we have many events planned in which we will need parent volunteers. In theThursday folder this week, you will find a list of all of the third grade events along with the dates and whether we need volunteer help. You will also find a flyer regarding a third grade end of year BBQ. As a grade level we would like to end the year with a BBQ. In order for this to happen, we will need parents willing to volunteer to bring grills as well as do the grilling. Please review th note and return if you are able to help.
Students will also be bringing home a progress report for the last 9 weeks along with a notice regarding spring conferences. Please sign and return the progress report and conference form .
I must turn in the registration forms that were sent home in the Thursday folder last week. All forms are due by Friday April 27th. If you have not turned this form in please do so as soon as possible.
Studnets will be bringing home a packet on Thursday regarding our Biography project / Wax museum. Please take the time to review the guidelines and timelines for this project with your child. Studnets must return the paper on Friday with three names listed that they would like to do their research on. Have them list them from first choice to third choice. Each studnet will be doing a diffeent person and will be required to dress like the person for the Wax Musuem. Your support of this project is greatly appreciated.
